Made Thought has created a new identity for paper company G.F Smith, developing a new typeface and two logomarks.
Made Thought has been working with G.F Smith since contributing to the Beauty in the Making exhibition in 2012. It also created a new identity and Colour Book for the company’s Colorplan paper range last year.
According to Made Thought founding partner Ben Parker, the consultancy approached G.F Smith in March last year and presented a ‘clarity document’ that set out a new brand framework.
Premier League football team Everton FC has completed its rebrand U-turn with the unveiling of a new crest chosen by fans. Liverpool-based consultancy Kenyon Fraser was engaged to work with Everton fans to develop a replacement logo. The club says around 20 000 fans were involved in the consultation. Three options were presented last month, and supporters voted to choose their favourite. The winning design received almost 78 per cent of the vote.

eBay president Devin Wenig says the new logo is part of its effort to reinvent the 17-year-old brand and create a new eBay. Wenig says the site today offers a "cleaner" and "more consistent" experience than before and that the crisp letters in the logo reflect that. Retaining the color palette was important, however, since they represent eBay's "connected and diverse" community of buyers and sellers
