Designroom Sport has rebranded The Caribbean Football Union to try and protect the game. The Caribbean Football Union is the governing body of football associations and federations located in the Caribbean. It consists of 31 member countries and is the largest body within the Caribbean zone of the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football. 2011 The CFU’s then general secretary Mohamed bin Hammamwas was involved in an alleged bribery plot during the FIFA presidential elections. A pair of hands embracing a football symbolises protection of the game and the inclusion of 31 stars represents each of the member regions. Together they form a design solution which Designroom Sport creative director Tim Fox says is ‘emblematic of the new era of The CFU.’ |
